Whilst talk is of 'flex-tension' and cross-party negotiations, we must remember that we are only a week away from a no-deal Brexit that remains a possibility despite all of this week's events.  It is easy to feel powerless but we are continuing to make the case locally for a public vote on whatever deal ends up being agreed, or not, with an option to Remain,

Street Stall in Winchester - Tomorrow

We will be running a stall in Winchester High Street tomorrow, Saturday 6th April from 10am - 12 noon at the Buttercross or nearby.  We will be asking people to 'Help MPs Decide' what they think is the best outcome next week on our survey and asking them to get in touch with their MP. Please join us if you can to help or just say hello.  You can share the Facebook event here.
Things are fast moving but whatever develops we have plans for more campaigning in other local areas in the next few weeks.  Look out for updates and keep an eye on our social media - links at the bottom.

Keep Writing!

As ever we need to keep up the contact with our MPs so that they are in no doubt of their constituents opinion, being challenging but also supportive when they do the right thing.  Winchester MP Steve Brine's recent actions have been encouraging - he has supported not only softer Brexit options but also a confirmatory public vote and the bill to force the Prime Minister to avoid a no-deal Brexit.  Most of the other Conservative MPs from Hampshire have failed to support any compromise proposals and must be challenged on the effect that crashing out of the EU would have locally.

Please contact your MP with even a brief note if you can - you can check your MPs contact details here.
